I am trying to determine the make, model etc. of my motherboard. I've run a
few programs that I was told "might" give me that information, but they
don't.
Is there any way to access that info?

My computer by passes Windows 98 when I start it up.
Some has configured the settings accidentally\, I reckon,
so that it goes to an old DOS game whenever the computer
starts.

Ok here's my problem I was removing some programs and now
I get all these errors of missing files the programs I
removed were "weather bug" and "bust-a-move".
here are the errors I get.....

when running my cpu, my mouse cursor turns into a black
square. it goes from an arrow to black square then I have

the set up comes up when I boot up and shows these options:
1.Normal start-up
2.command prompt (boot text)
3. Safe Mode

Each time I turn my pc on I get a blank screen with
Microsoft Start Up Menu
1)Normal
2)Logged Boot

got a pentium 200 mhz i totally cleared the harddrive and
when i inserted startup disk msg read invalid system disk
replace disk and press any key, to which i do this and

I have Windows 98- version 4.10.1998,
I need one that is higher, but i don't know how to get it.

I have just had to replace the memory for my computer and have been told
that W98 only sees and uses the first 128Mb of RAM.
I had 256Mb before and have just replaced it with a 128 as that was all that
was available at short notice.
