appears for Explorer.  "The program has performed an
illegal operation and will be shut down."  "Explorer

I had to load a new hard drive to my computer and I want
to load win98 to it. I have the cd but I can't find the
book for the product key. Can anyone tell me what I can do
or do I have to buy a new disk?

Does anyone know what it is and what it does? Do I need

When I try to install Win 98 SE on top of a previous
installation, I get two errors:
1.  It cannot find C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\regsvr32.exe
2.  It cannot read from mmsys.cpl

I cannot boot system.  It will boot in safe mode.  When I
look at bootlog, it fails with all fonts, beginning with
Marlett error 0016.  There are many, many of these errors
in bootlog.

I need help. I am trying to find out to contact Microsoft
regarding a computer reseller. He sold us a computer that

but the default installation directory is C:\Program Files\CRC32.
The program is installed through a Install.inf file. I looked inside
