Hi, when looking through to remove old rubbish on my hard drive, I see a lot
of files, many seemingly with a 0k length, which end in the suffix, DIR.
What are these? Can they be removed or are they some kind of placemarker or
something?

I have recently remove a dual boot (win98/xp) from a
computer but it still starts with the dual boot option.
How do I get round this.
