I rebooted my computer and all i have now is 16 and 2 colour. I manahed tom put 256 and 16 bit back in but every time i try to put them on the computer restarts then comes up with a message saying that the settings aren't right.

My System Configuration Utility (msconfig.exe) only runs properly in Safe mode. In normal mode whenever i try to run it, it appears on screen and disappears half a second later. Any ideas?

When I open up my desk-top I get this message, Error Loading C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ctrlpan.dll --the system cannot fin the file specified. Thanks for any help.Also is there a place some where the Q+A's are indexed?

I am still having a problem installing my SystemWorks 2004. It is still coming up with Error 1335 CABS.'m18' is corrupt and SystemWorks cannot be completely installed.

If I need to move or delete more than one file of any type, Windows Explorer locks up and the error message says, 'This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down'.The same happens with 2Explorer.
