My JPEGs now open with quick time and I want them to open
with iexplore.
I went to my computer-view-folder options-file types and
looked over the file types.

I unistalled Norton Security/Anti-virus so I could install
my new 2004 version.  When it is installing it say I'm
missing an Cabs'M18'.  Well i'm pretty sure that was the
message.  Please Help!

when running Norton utilities i receive a msg stating
C:\windows\system\vtpciirq.pci is missing.  Is this
important? It doesn't seem to be affecting anything but I
don't really know what it is or what it does. Thanks!

Every HELP page I go to sends me round and round ......  I've tried
everything on the pages and finally end up back on the other original
windows "update page" that ends me back to this page... around and around.

I am seeing this crash randomly - dos not seem to occur while running any
particular program.  The address indicated varies a small amount.  PC will
crash just sitting idle with desktop displayed.
I have disabled all of the startup programs and run Norton AV with latest

My internet window no longer has the file/edit/view bar at
the top of the page (nor anywhere else for that matter).
It also doesn't show the address bar. I know how to add
the address bar from the file/edit/view bar, but without

DirectX 9.0b was released on 7/23/03 to address the MIDI
security issue identified in bulletin MS03-030. A small
number of non-security fixes were also included in the
release. One of these fixes caused several TV Tuner

I reformatted my computer. Now I can't change my display
settings. Only have 16 and 2 colours and the slide wont
move for pixel settings. I dont have a video card but
built on my mother and dont know how to identify the chip.

Windows will go to the post screen of loading, then after
that it will go to a black screen then stay there and not
go any further, just has a "_" flashing in the top left of
the screen. I can get into safe mode but can't find the

FYI. Not sure what to think, but I suspect we may be in for another serious DoS situation, soon.
