I had to reformat my C drive and reload all software. My OS is 98 Second Edition. At the same time I upgraded to the latest version of McAfee and udated my HP Driver as well

I can no longer rescue my W98 computer.  It will only boot
in safe mode.  Otherwise it displays the following.
While initializing device IOS:
ERROR: Real mode system memory allocation failed.

I keep getting random GPF errors and I don't know how to
fix this problem.  The error is as follows:
(program) caused a general protection fault in module
KRNL386.EXE at 0001:00005868

About 40% of the time when I boot the computer on, I  will
get this error during the boot process: Spool32 "this
program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down.  If this persist contact your vendor."  This

My computer shut down on its own when I restarted it went
into safe mode. I have it out of safe mode but now my
pictures and graphics are distorted. Pictures look  like
they have been painted and graphics have mulitple dots

I am finally getting around to cleaning out old files on
my hard drive.  I would classify myself as a computer
novice, even after all these years.  Kind of a gas and go
type of user.

I am trying to use a digital camera through a USB port.  
In my device manager it shows that I need to activate the
USB in my BIOS.  I can't remember the Fkey value to access
the Bios when starting the computer.  Can someone please

Before I reinstalled Windows 98 SE2, I was able to get
French charters using a combination of ('"`^) and a
character.  I set my keyboard to English Canadian, but it
doesn't work.

At Windows 98 SE start-up receive "fatal exception 0B has
occured at 0167: 00001AE8".  
Problems started when kids were playing games.  Locked up
and on re-boot would only come up with a blue screen.

Recently I discover that explorer will not allow the
deletion or copy of more than 1 file.  Whenever I select
several files and press delete or drag to anoher folder, a
message about "explorer causing an error and will be shut
