during normal use of my W98 SE computer, including the
internet, a file named "`" appears randomly on my
desktop.  It is a 216 KB file with no extension and
unknown function.  I delete it whenever it appears but

After all these years, I finally decided to get rid of that horrid
Macromedia Flash stuff. The only problem is, when I go to some Web pages
that have a flash object, I get a prompt to download and install flash. Is
there ANY way to disable this?

I am having trouble installing Win 98 SE on a PC that has had a hardware
upgrade , namely a MSI (MS6734 ) motherboard and 128 Mb DDR PC2700 333 Mhz
with a AMD Duron 1600 CPU .
I keep getting the Error loading User.exe. You must re-install Windows

I"ve seen a rundll command to tell windows to SHUTDOWN, but I need to find
on to initate a RESTART.  Does anyone know the key-in?

On loading, I get a message error loading

I just did a clean reinstall of WIndows 98 but after the

I deleted by mistake the folder called bc45. when I boot up
I get error message: system.ini is looking for a file that
