I recently contracted the worm virus called w32.dumaru.gen@mm and have been
through the NAV removal procedure. Then my system runs good for a while,
then locks up & I reboot only to have NAV find that virus in the prntsvr.dll
file & I'm back to not working. Done this a few times. ...

I have lost the display properties icon in the control

  I've run this by the IE 6 group and so far no one has been able to
help me. I have a client's machine whose toolbars are out of order. I
should mention that this computer had been full of viruses (80 files) and
AdAware came up with over 200 instances of adware/spyware.

I have recently acquired a problem with my windows 98 computer.  It can no
longer access the internet.  It's on a netgear Ethernet hub (with 1 other
machine on the hub) connected to a netgear rt314 cablemoden router/hub with

Some of the time when I visit a site to get some pictures
some open but others only come up with that little red
x.This happens at the same site, some do and some don't.
Very frustrating ! Other sites work fine and a few others

1) I suddenly cannot open any pictures that are in a
double box with an x in the centre.  The only option I
have is to "show pictures" and this doesn't open them. All
other options are not highlighted. This is a new problem.

My computer displays the Small Font that Windows uses as little character rectangles instead of the actual text.  When I view the Small Font from another computer via my network connection, it displays the actual text

I just finished defraging. I noticed from time to time
there were 5-6 rows (mostly) that were white with little
