My color settings were changed by someone else in the
house and when i tried to put it back to normal everything
went fine except that my desktop icons are like basic when
they were set to 16 bit because of the person in my house

I downloaded Windows Mechanic on 3/7/04, decided I did not
want to try the free trial. I tried to uninstall it and it
keeps telling me it can't uninstall because it is running.

With 98 is there a simple way of converting all directory
windows to a 'list'format rather than an 'icon' format for
both folders and files ?  At present some are in one and

I am running WIn 98 on my Desktop and Laptop...
I can write and read from the floppy on the Laptop but when I
put it in my desk top to transfer data it says the disk
needs to be formated, even though it can be read on the floppy..

By accident discovered that both my hard drives are working in
ms-compatible mode and therefore not at optimum speed. Can't find that
particular screen anymore. Does anyone know where it is.

computer of spyware. The harddrive is used up and I have

WHEN THE COMPUTER IS OFF!!
Please excuse my yelling, but can't figure out why it is doing this.
Can't shut it down, as it just reboots up.
