When I Boot my Windows 98 computer I get this ERROR
message: While iniating Device ISO: Real Mode System
Memory allocation failed?
Computer: Gateway GP6 366 w/intel MMX Tech. W/64 MB Ram.

The Photo Printing Wizard that is a part of Windows XP is such a great
program that I wonder if it is possible to install it into Windows 98 ???

Only managed to take about 1/2 hr after finished installing before I had XP
so it wouldn't get to desktop ragardless of login id, normal or safe mode.
Took a 98SE startup disk andf the old DOS prompt to delete a specific sound
card driver file ebfore I coudl get back in.

We are using a custom municipal software.  However, we
installed a scanner which caused our cheques and reports
to print in bold and on the cheque stub in a chinese font.
I removed the scanner and it's programs properly using the

What is the easiest way to uninstall windows 95 and
install windows 98.  I do not have the upgrade version so
when I put the disk in to install it say it can not
because its not the upgrade.

When I start the computer, message says "Kerne1.exe is
missing or one of its libraries". I can't find it in
Windows or anywhere. What is this executable file?

to change the currency symbol there is only one choice on
the pull down list the irish pound

OE 6 wouldn't start up from any shortcut or from the .exe.  That never
has happened before.  I uninstalled it in the Add-Removes d.b. and when
I restarted the computer, OE 6 was up again and working.
But now a couple of shortcuts I use to open new messages are not

We want to get a new computer.  Can we use our Windows
98SE with an Intel P4 2.4GHz chip?  Is the chip too fast
for the older Windows to handle?  We don't want to upgrade
the OS because we are getting to old to learn yet another

getting an error message saying "win-ASPI file is missing
fix error".  This happens when i try to burn only. Can
