I am running Windows 98. When I access pictures on the internet, the pictures appear somewhat "grainy". That is, I see individual pixils that make up the picture rather than a smooth, clear resolution of the picture.

I think a computer I'm working on has been infected with CoolWebSearch (CWS) , but instead of simply hijacking MSIE, both MSIE and Windows Explorer are abending with a Protection Exception. Can CWS cause this? Here's what's going on:
