I use windows 98 se. My computer keeps reading the floppy
drive at regular interval ( every minute or so). While it
is reading the floopy drive the computer freezes for a few
seconds. This problem started after I enabled

Hi there, my problem is getting win98 to recognize both
HDD during the POST process. The second (slave) HDD is an
NTFS enabled with W2K on it. I had a virus on C: drive
(The Win98 HDD) and had to re-install. Now, I cannot

I'm trying to find out how to fix a fatal exception 0E at
0028:C196D30C in vxd MCSTRM (02) + 0000023C and what does
it mean. i get the message when i try to download the
software to get musicnet@aol. I believe i have all the

Whenever I go to Windows Help and access the Windows
troubleshooter, nothing happens. It says "Click here to
start Windows troubleshooting", and then gives me a list
of options(possible problems I'm having) to choose from.

win 98 won't open in normal mode. Been operating
in Safe mode all day.  When I reboot and try to open\
in normal mode it keeps opening in Safe mode.

I resently went to Gateway update site and it told me
that there was a newer up-date for my Multimedia Drives.
I downloaded and installed them from Gateway. Now when I
boot the computer I get the following message.
