I have a problem with my computer in that it sometimes just
switches itself off unexpectedly (no shutdown warning what so
ever, just like it had been switched off at the mains!!).
Anyone got any ideas?

I can't find the phonocopyright symbol (a "p" with a
circle around it) in windows 98. Could and will somebody
tell how to get it and print it?

I have been trying to reinstall windows 98, I use the
start up disk, but it never gets to the point to run cd. I
get a message that the file system is NTFS or NPFS, which
it is not and I need to create a dos boot partition. I

click "New" to create a new folder, shortcut, etc., I get

When I open my "My documents" file the discription at the
bottom of the screen says "138 objects + 1 hidden". When i
change the folder options to show all files...the
discription changes to "138 objects".
