Can anyone help? I stupidly agreed to help a friend by
installing a new hard drive after his old PC crashed. I
took out the old disk and fitted an Excelstor 40GB disk
with a new eide cable. Tried to boot from floppy: zilch.

My Windows 98 SE was was fine but now it always start
on "Safe Mode". The last meaningful activity before this

My PC starts to reboot and then quits. I then boot to a
system disk, go to DOS, and delete the wininit.ini file
and then the PC will reboot ok. Can anyone help me with

Downloaded upgrade to MusicMatch jukebox software. Running this causes
program to 'crash' giving an error "Invalid page fault in COREDLL.DLL".
Uninstall, and re-install of software makes no difference. SFC finds no

My Win 98 system was running fine but now I have an error message that says  " No CD plater attached to this computer, CD player cannot start"  Has anybody had this problem or know of a solution.Any advice gratefuilly accepted.  Cheers Steve
