I am starting to get quite a bit in information stored on
my computer that I would really like to keep, I have a
major music database that I would especially like to save.
I would like to back up my whole system. I have the nero

internet based websites we use.  put in user I.D.'s and
passwords and when you click to enter the I.D.'s and
passwords are removed and the page starts over.  Have used

Spent 1 hr 45 min downloading a zip file which expanded into a .wmv
video program, but I cannot play it in WinAmp. The file appears in the
Playlist editor, but double clicking on it does nothing except
displaying the clip name and duration in the top section of WinAmp.

i have a ibm notebook with windows 98.i have problem with
mouse,the cursor is moving but left and right buttons are
not working.i installed new ps-2 mouse but the problem
remains same.if there is any solution pls tell me.

Recently I have been getting a warning during boot up. The dialog box is
titled DNS_INT, and the message reads   ' DNS buffer length >=1024 '.
Any ideas what this means. please. Is it a Windows warning, or perhaps from
something else I load at startup? My startup loads AVG 6, ...

I have been told that a bloated Windows folder will slow down Win98 badly.
I was told to keep clean places like the TEMP folder, the Outlook Express
folders in Application Data, the Desktop etc.....
My question :- is this advice valid ?

Patty: I called the place, where I bought the monitor and
they are going to replace it, with a new one. I'll let you
know what happens, when I plug it up. So, check back for

It seems that when I leave the PC unattended for some time
then return and dispel the screen saver, in the task bar
there are several blank "panels" that open up and I have
to click on each one to make it disappear.  Sometimes one

Have a Packard Bell monitor,I can adjust the vertical size
of the screen with the adjustments on the monitor but not
the horizontal size.How do I make my right and left
margins smaller in order to allow windows to use  the
