Can't delete tmp files30 Mar 2004 06:11 GMT10
I have a Win98SE that keeps spawning one tmp file, in windows/tmp,
that I can't erase. And each time windows boots, it creates a new .tmp
file in that directory. The previous tmp file can be deleted. But not
the new one. How you tell which 'process' is using this file, which

Not sure quite what happened, but for some reason I am now unable to right
click on the desktop to bring up the Display Properties window. I am able to
get to it via Control Panel however.
I know it is a minor thing, but I miss it sometimes. Just lazy I guess.

I have been having problems with lockup of my Solitaire game (see

I just made a new install of Win98 and all drivers, everything is cool (in
device manager, no device market with !). But every time the machine boot
found a new Unknow Device during the add new hardware winzard process.

When i start my computer (win 98 SE), there is a start up
error which says "WINDOWS HAS DETECTED A
REGISTRY/CONFIGURATION ERROR, CHOOSE COMMAND PROMPT ONLY
AND RUN SCANREG", and when i do that, the system hangs
