Can anyone shed any light on IE6's behavior when
selecting 'Save As..', 'Web Archive, single page (.mht)/
  What I mean is that sometimes it will perform just as
one might expect, others it comes up with an error box

I have an external ION 40GB hard drive which is assigned J & K drive
letters. On boot up and several times while operating, both of these
directories show up on the screen and  have to be closed. Then they pop up a
few more times. How can I eliminate this irritant?

When the screen "Windows is shutting down" appears it shows up as a split
screen (on an old TV you would use the vertical hold to eliminate this
problem). It does not scroll, just is shifted up.

Accidentally a very important directory was deleted (and
cleaned from the Recycle bin, of course) from my PC.  Is
there a way to get it back?

no free space in d: drive need help?

I had to reinstall our windows 98 after having to
reformat our hard drive because of some highjacker
issues.  I thought we had the certificate number, but I
cannot find it now.  DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON

I am unable to open any programs.  I keep getting a
message that says:  object that c:\windows\........
refers to has been moved or is unaccessible

When I move between web sites I frequently get the
following message:
"IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault

While writing an e-mail, simply hitting the space bar will cause a red,
squiggly line to appear under the last word typed?  Why, and how can I

I have a scanner using a scsi pci card. When I boot the
computer, new hardware found activates and the card is
installed 7 times in device manager. Are there any
settings I should look at to resolve this?

I did this to get into the windows/temp file t delete all
the temp files . Got that all done but now highligted on
what ever file I click on. It still shows on top of window
exploring. How do I get it to change back to windows
