Hi, this is my 1st time trying to get help here, forgive
me if I'm in the wrong place. My system is Windows 98SE.
Up until about 2 weeks ago, the system was running
fine...maybe just a little slow. However, in the last

A friend is converting to IE and asked how to move his Favorites
folder from Netscape to IE. I have had no exposure to Netscape so am

Hello, I was cleaning up my old PC deleting files,
changing configurations, etc. I went onto my C:\ drive
and deleted everything on it except the folders(all those
things, and apperently I also deleted some file called

I had someone in who uninstalled and then reinstalled
windows 98, since then I my computer tells me there is no
sound card detected,  256 color video driver is gone and
no MIDI output service. I would appreciated and help or

Had a guy in and he uninstalled and reinstalled windows 98
since then my computer tells me that no sound card is

i removed the adapter without being in sleep mode.  now

My Norton Antivirus expires at the end of this month.  I was wondering if
the free AV programs are just as good as or better than Norton or, should i
just go ahead and renew Norton?  I'm afraid i might have complications
renewing Norton  as the computer was given to me by my sister ...

I had the Trojan virus. I deleted some of the infected
files. Now when I start my computer I have about 30
missing shortcuts. I get more every day. How do I get the
computer to stop searching for the shortcuts?
