  I was wondering if someone could post the weblink for a good
website that tells you what programs start up in Windows.  I had this
weblink in my favorites but it was deleted when I formatted my
computer and I did not back up my favorites list.  Thanks in advance

OK, am I being abnormally paranoid about throwing in the towel on
Windows Media Player v6.4, or should I go ahead and upgrade to WMP
v7.x??  I know WMP v9 is bad news for Win98, but it seems I remember

I seem to get this error at the end of defragging my
harddrive although recently it even occurred while I was
starting to defrag the harddrive. When I looked for a fix

windows 98 SE in order for me to have broadband.  Are

When I try to access any program in Control panel
including display settings, Date and Time settings I get

repair it.  I can't find my original, must have been lost

please help me im writing an essay...i saved to floppy on
microsoft word, wins 98, and then i most have saved a
blank document over it onto floppy and i have no idea how
to get my essay back, its not saved on the system, has

I run a windows 98 system and for some unknown reasons
the folder "My Documents" has desappeared. Is there a way
to recover it? Or are there any Microsoft accredited
software that would unrase any deleted files/ folders.

im running W98SE and have IE6 on my home laptop.  The
machine is connected to the internet via cable.  i got the
latest security downloads earlier this week.  i try to
bring up the machine and it errors out on bootup.  i run

The "My Documents" folder does not show up from within any program when
try to use "save as" etc or where I have to browse to the folder. Its no
marked as hidden and always shows up in Windows Explorer
Why is it missing in other software?
