When I open the "Troubleshooting" section of Windows98
Help, select a radio button on the right pane

When I use find it brings up the setupx.dll twice firstly

I recently dual booted to 98se and xp.
I am aware that there is a 'system volume information' folder in win xp.
However I now have one on the drive that contains win98se as well and it
grows daily !! Can I delete this folder from the 98se partition ?

I obtained a bona fide copy of Microsoft Windows98 (Second Edition)
Upgrade, labelled as "for users of Windows 3.1x and Windows 95".

This morning Norton Antivirus detected backdoor.trogan
virus on two files.  services.exe in windows\system and
netgame.exe in windows\temp\
Neither file could be repaired by Norton so they were

FYI, I remember tackling a really evil virus that formatted my
roommate's hard drive and partitioned the drive to an 8 bit partition.
Only two megabytes were left in the 32 bit partition and the Windows
98SE cd kept saying that it did not have enough space to install.

I´ve got a problem. On my Win98  computer I have 2 modems, 1 analog and the other ISDN. The analog modem is on COM port 1 and the ISDN modem is on port 5, but the ISDN is working.  Now how can I change the COM port
Because the mouse is on COM2 and the analog Modem is on COM1. And ...
