I have one machine that will not allow me to change date/time in Win98 it reverts right back to the previous settings after hitting Apply. Even more puzzling is the same symptom can be found when changing the date/time in the BIOS.

whilst trying to install Norton System works, the computer told me to restart, i did so, and now it will not reboot. it says Windows needs re-installing but then it closes down , and wont open windows at all.

I was wondering if 98SE allows a user in Rick T. own words: As long as I've got a 98SE denizen "on the hook", I've got a question... can you go straight from gui to real-mode DOS without warm-booting? (like you can in 95, iirc)
