I use Installshield to install my software on user PCs. It
works fine on all versions of Windows but on two OLD Win
98 PCs the install fails in Windows Installer with the
message "The installation package could not be opened.

I've just plugged a 2nd hand DataTrain DC-507 VGA monitor into a Windows 98
HP... during boot-up it displays perfectly all the typical DOS information
(white text, black background, full screen) During the initial Windows

We keep getting the Ourk error message after the computer
has been idle for a while i.e. we got to bed at night and
in the morning the Ourk meesage is on the screen and we
have to re-boot.  Does anyone know what this is or how to

I have a problem where IE will not bring up any page (immediately goes to a
page cannot be displayed, invalid syntax error).  This happens for any and
all sites, external or internal to my network through IP address or by name
(www.microsoft.com).

When I try to shut down, I get to the message "Windows 98 is Shutting down"
then I get a black screen with a blinking white line in the upper left
corner.  Nothing happens after that.
Any ideas about what can be done to fix this?

For some reason I can not use my Fkeys on top of my
keyboard.  Is there something wrong with the keyboard?

I do not show a USB printer port to select.  How do I add

I have developed a problem where word crashes when I try
