Each time I try to access the MS main page (www.microsoft.com) it will not load and end up with "bad gateway Timed out". Happens with one of the support pages as well Anyone, anyone Bueller?

I turned on my PC the other day and the only thing in the start/programs group is the startup folder and it is empty. I have no idea what happened. All my programs are still on the computer and can be run from the Windows Explorer. My anti virus software did not detect any viruses. ...

This problem is well discussed in Google and occurred after upgrading IE from 5.5 to 6.0. It has to do with the Browseui.dll file. Has there been a fix from MS as yet? Thanks

on the Control Panel window, none of the applications will respond on double clicking. also Norton Antivirus will not start on the desktop. Have reloaded Windows, reloaded system files, but no luck.
