Whenever I boot up or whensomething is being downloaded, I
get the following SYSTEM FILE ERROR:
The following system files have been replaced with older
versions by a program you recently ran. These files are
sndvol.32.exe18 Apr 2004 14:12 GMT1
I restarted my computer and the sound is ok now.  I can
hear and play music.  The thing that still is wrong is
that I still don't have the sound icon at the bottom right
next to the clock and when I go on the fine for the sound

I went to IRS webpage and I needed to download a
publication. I tried it with notepad and I got jiberish
then there is a box that says always usee this file and I
unclicked it but since it didn't work I tried it again

My computer is having trouble reading messages on MSN and
some other programs.  It gives me all squares in place of
the letters.  How can I get the computer to read the codes?

What does this mean? Something about virtual memory? If so, how do I fix it?

Hi After installing MSN 9 I am getting an error stating
MSING32.DLL is damaged, I receive this after my system
restarts, Then when I double click the butterfly Icon I
get an error about MSNMETAL.DLL is missing 0x00000485.

Friend had to put a new monitor in, but when it starts up, nothing. You have
to unplug it and plug it in when windows starts.
I have changed the drivers to a plug and play, but still dont' work. Tried a
different monitor same thing.

I'm not sure how it happened, but suddenly we have no
sound on the computer and on several files I've tried to
open I'm getting the message "missing rundll32.exe file"

Each time I shut down and restart my computer, the Quick
Launch toolbar (icons) displays a different set of icons.  
I mean, there are about two different sets that will be
displayed.  Example; there will be Yahoo, Yahoo Mail, my

Whenever I boot up my machine, I get the to part where
it says enter password to log on to windows. Then a
message pops up saying " Spool32 casue stack fault in
moduel kernel32.DLL at 017f:bff7429f. I click close, then

How do I get to services (local) on a Win 98 machine. I blocked something
that I need to allow access.  I know in XP, I go to control panel,
administrative tools, then services, but I don't have a clue with Win 98.
