I am attempting to clean up my windows 98se laptop
computer and there are two files in the c:\windows\temp
director, 3 and 3.ldb, which I can delete because they are
in use.  Does anyone know about these files and are they

it seems that whenever have outlook 2000 open, and when try to browse
network resouces with windows explorer, the system locks
up.....cntrl+alt+del  reveals that explorer isn't responding, and i end up
having to select "end task".

Hi- When I try to use Trend's Housecall Online antivirus,
it will not download because Active x won't let it. I used
to use this antivirus all the time and don't know why it

This error is occurring with increasing frequency.  
Occasionally I can actually access IE, but it is becoming
problematical.  The internet connection is fine, accessing

I have a problem trying to run WIN 98 on a fast Gateway
