Internet Explorer loads then closes14 Apr 2004 12:10 GMT4
My friend's son has been playing with his computer again.
Now when you open Internet Explorer(6), it begins to open then immediately
shuts down,  I tried the repair option, but nothing changed.  Any
suggestions or thoughts (besides shackling his son)?

I recently added a new user profile to windows 98.  
Everything seemed to work and then I powered up the
computer and received the following messages:

My computer "reset" itself recently and I need some help in getting the
appearance back like it was when first installed. I have tried to find the

When I try to boot my system, after a few seconds, the
machine just powers off.  I have to cut power to the
machine for several minutes before I can even try again.

My Stations disappear always.
While I'm in the radio tuner, I select some stations to add to My Stations,
but after a few minutes or when I re-open WMP, they are gone. My Stations
list will be empty.

Something has happened so that any changes I make to the
Quick Launch toolbar aren't retained after I reboot or re-
login.  This also happens for the other user account and
the default desktop.  Any ideas how to fix this problem?
