Does anyone know how to change the name of the computer
and the user name in Windows 98 2nd edition?  Thanks for

When I attempt to change/adjust the time, then hit apply,
my computer freezes. It then shows date/time properties
not responding after Ctrl-Alt-Del option. This happens
every time. Win 98 SE.

My root certifcates were updated on November 6, 2003 through Windows
Update, per my Installation History at the Microsoft site. I also
remember having done this update back then.
Now Windows Update says that I need to install new root certificates.

I have a 133MHz computer that has a disabled mouse port.  The add new
hardware wizard does not detect a mouse port at all.  The same mouse
connected to a serial port works just fine.  Went into Bios setup and there

ive got windowns 98se and when i right click to create a
folder, that option isnt there.
i cant fint a button anywerte that lets me create folders.
any suggestions on whats causing this, and how to fix this?

When hitting ctrl/alt/del have found "Trayclnt Not
Resonding" do not know how to resolve this.

I'm using 98SE.  There is one, and only one, URL that I cannot access,
either through Mozilla (preferred) or IE.  The site is up and running
but I can't get to it.
I've contacted my ISP and they say it's something on my computer.

I have just run zone alarms scan and it lists the following cookies
which I cannot see when I run cookies. Are any of them harmful please?
