Yesterday, I posted here about my mouse not working. Last
night I turned on the PC and the mouse was working fine
all night. When I first turned it on today it was not
working after several reboots I got it working again.

Whenever I try to begin a new document in word, nothing
will type.  No words will show and nothing can be typed.  
This is only when I try to begin a new document.

Since installing the various updates for Windows 98se on my partner's
machine, it keeps on coming up with an error message, which is proving a
real PITA.  Can anyone suggest a possible cause/solution?

I had someone install a 10gig hardrive on my ibm laptop to
replace the 2 gig..I orginally recd the laptop with
windows 98 installed..he rtned the laptop with xp home
installed which i did not ask to do..now of course it can

I have looked for MTX virus. I have replaced wsock32.dll. Done sfc. Cleaned all spyware. Reinstalled IE 6 SP1. (Also chkdsk and defrag.)

My Pictures are stored in a folder in My Documents I used
