Although OE used to work, now when I click on an email, I see a blank window where the text should appear except for the hourglass. This is even true for old emails that I read in the past and for an email in the sent folder that I just composed and sent!

I have read answers from MVPs to posts about the Sasser worm. That it can get on a 98 system. Bounce around there and do no damage but can infect other machines that have XP and the other OSs.
