Need to close all background programmes (except systray and explorer).
Always thought CTRL + ALT + DEL was best way.  Now seems that this does not
list all programmes, especially anti-virus etc.  What is best way of
listing/closing all background programmes with W98SE please?  Many ...

I'm using Windows 98SE, and everytime I start up my
computer I get an error message saying that "EXPLORER made
an invalid page fault in the module WENINET.DLL at

Although OE used to work, now when I click on an email, I see a blank window where the text should appear except for the hourglass. This is even true for old emails that I read in the past and for an email in the sent folder that I just composed and sent!

I have read answers from MVPs to posts about the Sasser
worm. That it can get on a 98 system. Bounce around there
and do no damage but can infect other machines that have
XP and the other OSs.

I'm having trouble with my dell laptop. I'm running

When Java applets are in use or Windows Media Player is
downloading or playing video files my entire screen
freezes up.  I run Windows 98SE and although it happened

I have a pc with Win98 SE (~400MHZ 64MB RAM) and I need
to run an application that has .msi format.  It didn't
let me run the application so I went to Microft website,  
downloaded and installed the file 'instmsia.exe'.  When I
