When I do a ctrl-alt-delete I see something called
mailslotmultiplexor and when I do an end task it launches
IE.
Any ideas as to what this might be?

How do I remove phantom E: Drive icon in Explorer? Its in other places too.

The screen on my monitor flickers constantly! If I tap on
the top or side of it, it will quit for a while then I have
to do it again. Sometimes if I just let it flicker it will
eventually go dark but is still ON (not in standby mode)

I am having the same problem that Sparky is having. I
formated and reloaded WIN98 and I can't reset it for 256
color. I keep getting a popup that says, "There is a
problem with your display settings. The adapter type is

I am curious when you press ctrl+alt+del and you see all
those programs running, how many should be there, and
shouldn't you be able to recognize what is there?  I have
several things running that I have no idea what they are.

Sorry I am not very technically minded but I do need some
help please... I have windows 98SE my problem is that the
System Resources keep dropping to down to 28% sometimes
lower, when I restart they are at 62% max but drop quickly

When I start up computer goes to desktop but smaller window opens to C:\

noticed that it used to be, I could right-click on images
and choose "Save As" and save them in their proper

What is Win32 because I am trying to install a program and it says it needs Win32, where can I find this to download it for Windows 98?
