Every time I shut down my machine I get an error message: Explorer - The program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut doen. If the problem persists contact the program vendor.

At start-up, a program error message appear which is "File BATMETER.DLL cannot be found". When OK is click, it goes away. What causes this and how can I correct it. Thanks in advance.

i am trying to make a backup copy of my cd so i can keep it in the car in case it gets stolen. when i go to copy anything now using NERO, the used read buffer status goes to 100% quite quickly, and the progress rate stops at 4%.
