Starting Windows 98, I get the error message:
While initiating device PGCPC:
Windows protection error.  You need to restart your computer.
Anybody know what's causing this?  How do I cure it?

I have Wsup & Wtoolsa running in the background and I
can't close them.  They are executables.  The find shows
them associated with windows tools but I am not sure that
is correct.  They were not running programs on my computer

I mistakenly removed this file from windows 98se becuase
it was running in the background with a few nuisance pop
up type viruses. I do not have the original 98se disk
becuase the software was provided by gateway. I searched

I have recently experienced the problem of the various types of Windows 98se
disks that exist. I wanted to upgrade a friend's computer from Windows 98 to
se but do not have the upgrade disk required.(I have another kind of disk).
Any recommendations on where/how one can be obtained?

in win 98se/system properties..virtual memory shows as
minus 486mb...it should read 63gigs free as it does in my
computer/c drive.

Ever since I had problems with Adaware, my startup menu no longer loads.  How will I get into safe mode?  Also, scanregistry fails to run scanregistry/fix.  Should I reinstall 98SE over my installation or is there a better solution?  Everything else seems to be working okay.

Had problem with some MS files amd had to re-load Windows
98SE.  Now every time I start the computer i get a pop-up
that says "The requested file -4 was not a valid font
file."       Now I have to click OK in that pop=up to
