Have severe problems. Originally, got an error on startup that said "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter" right after the "verifying DMI pool data" message.

Don't have  word processing program and I'm going nowhere trying to
print out my directory list.  A good buddies --who *tries, but helped
me *melt down a few weeks ago-- says I can do it using Dos--is this

Hello group,
while working on  a friends computer the following message appears during
startup  "There is a problem with your display setting.  The adapter type is
incorrect or the current settings do not work with your hardware".  Is a

I was going through my hard drive today and I noticed a
file called "Hard Drive.Ink" in the root folder of C:\.  
The file takes up 7 megabytes, which is big for a shortcut
(which .Ink files are).  I was wondering if it would be

Hi, a quirky problem here.  A user has recently managed to lose the toolbox in MSPaint (Win98).  I have tried using CPanel /Add Rem /Add Rem Win Components to uninstall Paint, then reboot, then reinstall, and this does not work.  Anyone have any suggestions, short of format c:\ ...

the heading on this "box" is Wtoolsa    I can't git rid of
it or find it in my files.  it says" this program has
performed an illegal operation and will shut down." the
