MS seems to have scrubbed KB195218, something I have found with a couple of
other  W98 KBs.  'How to Enable ACPI Support in Windows 98/Me'.  Or perhaps
they just think it isn't wanted anymore.  Anyhow, I was hoping someone had
saved a copy..

Running Windows 98.
When I boot my machine, everything is normal until I plug
in my Ethernet cable connecting my computer to my router.

I had to reformat my C:drive due to a recent virus.  Since
installing my Windows 98 SE software, my keyboard strokes
are very strange.  For example the appostrophe (è) as you
see.  The forward and backward slash are (é) & (à).

I keep receiving the same error message:  WToolsa caused
an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at
0167:bff7671f.  How can I correct?

Three Problems:
1.  intermittently, when I click on an icon, I get only
the properties box.  If this happens while in a program,
cannot type in anything.  rebooting solves teporarily.

Spoke with nvidia.  Cleaned out nvidia 56.64 and have installed 44.03.  
That certainly made a difference (Win98 opens normally, instead of safe
mode).  However, I still have a remaining problem:  I want to change
some of the display properties, but can't because the Display

I have updated my ole machine from 98 to 98SE
The old system was multilang installed, the new is english only
Here and there I still have a mix of languages and I tempt to fix those too
So... whats the proggie that displays my win logon screen?

on a number of sites, including this one, the type is
small which is ok, but it is also fuzzy.  This seems to
have occurred after my nephew tried to straighten out
another problem. Is there a way to make it crisp and sharp?

i can only start computer in safe mode. no hardware or
software has been installed in recent months and i can
only start in safe mode.  just came up last night. fatal

Missing "new" context menu.19 May 2004 18:12 GMT2
I have reinstalled windows and several applications
(Norton System works, MS Office, AOL V9.0). Made an
attempt to and a new folder and noticed that the "New"
context menu is missing.  Anybody have any ideas??
