What are the advantages of running the desktop as a web page?  If you run the desktop as a webpage are you just setting yourself up for lots of adware?  Thanks in advance for all the help.

When I try scandisk, it gets to "checking folders", goes to six to nine bar segments in progress window then drops back to checking the first item it checks, then to folders. It does this ten times and quits trying

An employee of mine has been having an issue with the

How do I go back to last known good configuration?

Problem started when I installed Norton Internet Security.
Now, whenever I start the PC, a fatal error (blue screen)
occurs.  Even whn I start in safe mode, it happens.  I
tried a registry scan/restore but I still get the error.

Every time I try to open/empty the bin everything comes to
a halt. The computer crashes and I have to restart. This
happens if I try to send something there as well. I
thought I would try and outsmart it and I ran disc clean
