Hi, and please help me.  This just started to happen to
me.  Everytime I go to shut down my computer I go to the
Start button, then I choose shut down.  Just like I've
always done, but now the my computer just freeze and stays

After I run my Adware, SpyBot or any other cleaners, it was suggested that I
make a log of the results and show them to an expert. Would it be alright if
I posted them on this newsgroup for review?

   I am using Win98 in my PC. Recently, I have found that when I right
click the mouse in desktop, I can't find the "New" option. I think this
problem could be solved by editing registry, but I don't know the details.
   Does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks for any help!

hey my reolution wont go above 640x480 and the colors
stick at 16, i checked my graphics make with that prhram

A friend of a friend gave my daughter a computer (homebuilt within the
last year) I don't know what's in it except that the motherboard has
onboard sound, video and network card. He said all I have to do is

I am fixing up an older computer for my husband's auto
garage.  Windows 98 is installed.  It hasnt been used for
awhile, and I forgot just what was wrong with it.  I
turned it on, and signed in, and I recieved the dreaded

I have lost the ability to open my Jpeg files; sure it is
due to file association. I'm not sure what program opened
them prior to loss. What graphics viewer(s) come with
Win.98 SE. which will open these files?
