I'm having problems with the contents of my folders.  For
example;
If I click 'My Computer", then C:, then 'My Documents',
everything displays fine.  When I use the 'back' button, I

Some downloaded and installed applications fail launch
themselves most of the time.  
There is occasionally a reprieve when they do, but then
they fail again.  I am not able for example to launch

I mistakenly replaced a file in my Cardfile that contained
about sixty cards (addresses). I thought I was adding a
card when, in fact I was adding a file. The warning

This is probably a dumb question, but I was thinking
about upgrading from windows 98 to windows xp.  I need to
do this to network several computers, and for some reason
it just won't work for my system running windows 98.

professional.  There is a compatibility problem that I do
not no how to solve or fix.  When the upgrade was complete

You need the Windows 98SE UPDATE CD not the UPGRADE CD.
Ebay has it.  I bought mine from www.9software.com.

This is a Compaq with Win 98 on it. Most of the time it
will not boot. It says Operating System Not Found. If you
reboot it enough times it says Disk1 found, CD-Rom found
configured. It reboots and it with load Win 98. I
