My windows 98se wont recognize my cd drives upon start up
and wont recognize them to re install them. What should I
do. Help

I am running Windows 98se and I rebooted earlier and it
will not go through the whole startup process.
It hangs.  The bar still runs across at the bottom, but it
will never get past that screen.

win 98SE updated with all critical updates to date.

When shutting down my system, 90% of the time I get the
following:
A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C02A27A8 in VXD
VWIN32(05) + 000012DO

I use the following code in a program to check if the computer has
sufficient resources to open an external wordprocessor:

I have tried to do my maintenance and defrage my
computer,it just will not do anything. It was
defragmenting all day and it didn't budge.

I am trying to install a corporate font and the option to do so does not appear as stated in the help file.  I go to Control Panel-Fonts and it says that intall new font should be listed under file, instead it has the choices of Windows explorer.

I have an older Gateway PC that I have just installed a
new hard drive on. The Bios seems to be working properly.
When I try to boot the system with disk 1 of a DOS 6.2

The image on my computer looks as if it vibrates back and forth real fast
and creates a blurry image.  Then it will stabilize and I can read what is
