I run Windows 98 Second edition. I am currently visiting a relative in another state who uses Windows XP. I'm not sure about this but I think Windows 98SE and Windows XP have somewhat different Notepad programs.

Curt, thanks for the reply. The problem I have is, the window refers to the Product ID and the Product Key as being the same thing. Another thing is, I have nothing else that has 5 sets of 5 characters.
