I have a user that gets error messages and Windows98 keeps
crashing.  There were 2 other techs on his machine before
he ased me to take a look at it but I don't know where to
begin.  All i know is he crashs in almost everything he

I have installed the Microsoft Windows Security Updaate CD
on my PC.  The application is not able to execute due to a
missing .DLL file.  This file is VETCONF.DLL, the file is

i am trying to figure out what the jet files found in the
temp folder of windows do.  i can't figure out how to
delete them either.  some of the jet files can be easily

Everytime I turn my computer on it loads everything as
normal and I have all the icons on my desktop and then it

I've been having problems with my SCSI PC, and can no longer get it to

install.  It says I have to have Windows 98 with the Y2K
2000 Upgrade or Windows 98 SE.

Does anyone know where to find a driver for the Microsoft Basic Optical
Mouse? The Microsoft website does not seem to have one for it and just says
it is not compatible with the intellipoint drivers it has on the website.
My Windows 98SE installation does not seem to have a driver ...

For some reason, when i right-click i do not receive
the "New" option in win98.  The option is not in the file
menu either.  Therefore i can't make new folders, text

I just recently inherited a PC with Windows 98 and there are no drivers. It
is an Aptiva, 133 Mhz. I am unable to install the proper drivers without the
actual Win 98 CD, which I do not have.
Any way of going about getting the drivers for this old thing?
