since yesterday when i switch on the pc within minutes the
screen freezes and windows has crashed. please help

network password. Does anybody know how to stop this

When I click on a text file to read I get this message:
Windows cannot find NOTEPAD.EXE
I have tried to search for it but it's nowhere to be found
in my computer.

I do not want to manually touch this file because I
realize that an inappropriate edit can do serios damage.  
The truth of the matter is that I do not possess the
proper knowledge to safely make such changes myself.

I use to know the command to configure 98.  For some
reason I keep thinking it's "configsys", but this gets me
no where.

Recently my PC with Win98SE is always unable to start
Normally.
Its sequence is:
1. HP Logo page

When I boot Win 98 up I get blue screen, norton antivirus and no icons. If I
reboot 2 maybe 3 times the icons come back , can someone help?
Also I would like to do a clean install of win 98 can someone show me the
steps to do this?

80G drive........downloaded Geodisc and worked fine for a few months. Now it
stops and advises to scan disk first. Scan Disk advises too many programs
running. I close everything down and it still won't scan. Any suggestions?
