W98se /soundmax digital audio. On the volume control>stereo wide>advanced>advanced controls for stereo wide>tone controls (treble/bass). These are always greyed-out, and therefore un-useable. What's a boy to do?

This is what happened. First I put the main stuff in. Then added the things that it needed. All of it worked well. But after I put new parts in and what they needed is when it got sick. Now all I get to do is look at this

Hi. I have this same very problem. I've installed a second HD in my AthlonXP clone. First booted to prompt (not in windows mode) then used Fdisk to partition 2nd drive.
