please help me correct the time in when I receive my
messages and send them. The date is correct but the time
is off about three hours.

I un-installed w/98 to install xp. Now I can't do
anything. Missing drivers etc. Can't re-install w98. Disc

I have a computer that is approx 8 yrs old. I had so much
spyware that I dumped my puter with a system recover disc
( going back to day1) I added my spysweeper disc than I
reinstalled my yahoo dsl. I scanned for windows updates

I am getting a error message reading (The following system
file have been replaced with a older one and some programs
may not work. The file reads C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS\WINASPI.DLL

Just installed Easy CD creator, and a new/old burner into my win98se
machine. Works fine, but Clone CD, which has been very good now crashes
behind itself, Explorer. Its not really using Explorer as far as I can see.
Any ideas, as when it goes, the CD being burned becomes a frizby!

I know that if I desire to set up a dual boot with Win98 and WinXP that I
need to install Win98 first. Does this still apply if I use a third party

When a Chinese character set is installed in Win 98, can
one alternate between the original English and the newly
installed Chinese?  Or does the English version have to

I am trying to help a friend using Windows 98. She recently installed
Norton Internet Security and there was a problem with the install
(having to do with an error message about having to replace a dll, which
she did not understand and couldn't do herself). Since then, though I

i am running win98, and its a hp pavilion, so i dont have
the actual win98 cd. but what HP does come with is a
special recovery cd. it gives you the option to recover or
to reformat and recover. just the recover doesnt delete
