I stupidly upgraded to IE6, then to compound the stupidity I attempted to upgrade my good ol' Win98 to Win98SE with the ultimate goal of then upgrading to WinXP. Now I'm sure you'll agree that's a lot of upgrading. Well, let's see where I am now.....

I Had to reinstall Windows 98 op system on my mother's Gateway computer (monitor VX900) and now the monitor display settings "stuck" at 640x480, and I am unable to change it. Any suggestions how to fix this.
