Who knows what is a DSB ERROR and how i fix it?? i've
W98SE and when i try to open a webpage or log in msn it

I have tried for almost 2 weeks to try to solve my
problems. They are as follow's:  My first and most
disturbing is this,.... WINDOWS\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1
\AOL.\C_AMER~1.OA\IDB\main.idx   this must be an AOHell
where can I get an upgrade from 98 to 98SE or ME19 Jun 2004 11:45 GMT16
I can't find this on the Microsoft website.  Can someone
point me to it - either on M'soft website or anywhere
else?

when I try to get updates I get the error message, time

I have a old computer running windows 98 but i havent'
used it in like 3 years, it still runs but it is very
slow, I want to erase everything and reinstall 98. I have

This morning I started my Athlon PC running Win98se and it booted up
without any problem. I did two things - burned a CD-R and went to the
McAfee update web site and downloaded and installed this week's dat
files.

Is there a win 98 specific powertoys available for win 98 or will the
win 95 version work just as well?
The win 95 version used to work on my computer until recently. I used
tweak ui to get rid of the little arrows on shortcut desktop icons,

My internet Icon is black when I use my internet explorer
And when I go to add so thing to my favorites the icone is

In any of the programs that I am using, when I start to
type the the letters or numbers will have other symbols
with them.  Such as: l], or when I press the s the box
for search will pop up.  It's as if many of the keys have

I spent approximately ?70 when I bought XP Home edition, (if memory serves),
to "upgrade" from W98se.  Actually, I ended up formatting my drives to
FAT32, then stuffing in W98se, and "upgrading," because I, (possibly only
needed to format the drives and them boot from the XP Home ed ...

instances of the same font, in
Arabic,Baltic,CentralEupropean,Cyrillic,Greek,Hebrew,Turkis
h,Western ... although these odd fonts default to Western

Help, I have consistantly had problems using virus
programs with wind 98 se.  It may not be a windows issue
but I seem to have tried everthing else.  Previously ran
NAV in Norton Utilities.  Am currently running eTrust ez
