This is an old laptop loaded with W95 OSR2 as originally designed. It has only 16 MB RAM and with basically nothing running but W95, it seems to be using nearly 100 % of available RAM. Years ago I ran W95 on a desktop with 32 MB and never had resource problems. Is this normal

We have Win98 SE which in March 04, we found a lot of virus, sypbot, and adware problems, which were completely cleane off. Anti-virus software is now running and is beeing updated.

I just read Richard G Harpers problem with his USB and I think I have the same, I have Win 98SE with two USB ports, one is occupied with my HP printer and the other I want to usee a jump drive for back ups, but my computer locks up

I have a PnP cd R/RW drive that I bought and installed on to my Windows 98 computer. Works fins as a CD reader, but is not recognized by the NERO burning software. Appears as though the Windows 98 first edition of the Operating System

My friend has Microsoft 98 and her start menu is now vertical. She does not know how she got it this way but she wants to make it horizontal again. Have any ideas on how to fix it? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Base Article 311359 looks like it nails it. BUT the version of URLMON.DLL that is on my CD is loder than the version which appears to be damaged. How/where do I get a copy of URLMON.DLL sized at 479232
