When rebooting my computer it takes like ten to fifteen
minutes to finish; and it seems to continuously process
something. What could cause this.

I have been using Powerpoint with indows 98. When I wanted
to transfer the presentation to a DVD I find that I need
to have Powerpoint viewer on the disc.

On a friend's Tosh notebook, on start up, I'm getting

upload to me?  XP really sucks and and I would like to reformat my hard
drive and replace XP with it and I don't have the disk anymore.  You can

Hi there... my boss here at work is experiencing problems

Documents, or Windows Explorer.  Other functions work

it does not matter what application i am in, my computer
stops suddenly, then will continue after a minute or so.
Why does this happen and what can I do to fix it? (When in

when I try to open the system config utility using start-
run-msconfig, it pops open and then imediately shuts
down.  Same thing occurs with regedit.  This may be
related to Limewire/limeshop that my daughter downloaded.

I have a useless ulead video studio 6 program that I have
had great trouble installing. It hasn't properly and I
want to get rid of what is left. In my install/uninstall
it shows as remaining. I run the cd rom and click install

Is there a way to change the default appearance of folder
contents?  Any time a new folder is created, files and
subfolders always appear as "Large Icons".  I prefer  to
display them in "List" form instead but can't find any way
