I cannot set the video resolution above 640 × 480 with 16
colors and I don't know what to do... any help would be

my computer obviously has a virus and it attacked the
cdrom drive. i was going to restore it to factory settings
with my cd but it wont read it. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO

Windows98SE. After completing a 'clean boot' as suggested by Gary Terhune I
forgot to tick in msconfig the tabs for process config.sys file and the
Autoexex. bat.file although they both have about 4/5 entries in each. The
computer seems to be working ok so what exactly do these ...

The "Osama found Hanged" thread. I downloaded the zip file and extracted the
.exe file to the desktop and ran AVG on it which reported no virus so I ran
it and the .exe file disappeared and nothing seemed to happen. Should i be
concerned?

I have two error loading mesages on start up:
1) error loading C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ctr\pan.dll
2) error loading C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\msconfd.dll
Can anyone direct me to where/how I can obtain these files

How can I check to see of I have all of the second edition
windows 98 or if there is doubles?or is there part windows
98 and windows second edition.
