I have installed driver software for Win98 for an MP3
player (USB mass storage device). When I attach the
player, nothing happens and Device Manager gives Error
Code 10 - "This device is either not present, not working

The defrag stops at 10% and starts over. I have already changed the system configuration and ran a disk clean up and scan disk. I have tried to run it in safe mode. Nothing seems to be working to make the defrag run. Any suggestions?

My monitor is dark and hard to see. It is even worse on
the internet..I have the brightness all the way up and it
still doesen't seem to do the job...On the internet,

can someone plse help me. i have got a 40gb hard drive on
my computer as a slave drive but it shows up as a 2gb hard
drive and it only allows me to store 2gb worth of files. i

I created a 2nd user account at one time and then deleted
it.  Now, the primary (original) user account still shows
in the Start Menu although there is only the one account

Am thinking of doing this, purely because of the odd application which
