Hello, I dont know what happened but all my jpg pictures want to open with notepad. I am confused as to how to make them open as pictures. If I get to the "open with" there is nothing that looks like Jpg.. or jpeg. There is kodack and msnpaint but no jpg. Please help me get this ...

Computer boots up but will not start windows. It keeps saying found new hardware but will not search for drivers. Says needs to reinstall windows but with the windows 98 disk in it give the message standard display

Ron, Thanks for the response. I tried your suggestion of restoring the windows registry prior to the problem. I have done so and I am still having the same problem.

Win98, 256mb RAM Is there any difference in the amount of resources used when shortcuts are placed in the taskbar rather than on the desktop. I have 17 shortcuts on my taskbar and have very few applications open on start up

I know I posted this before, thought I saved the answer but can't find it. I sent for the Microsoft Windows Security Update CD & installed it. Since that time, I am once again unable to see pictures sent to my e-mail account ( Outlook Exp. 6).

I received an arror message ( elligal operation and shut down) twice. Once when I tried to open a new message in Mycrosoft outlook 2000, and second when I tried to select and print a paragraph from hotmail mail.
